Title: More North West munro's and Duntelchaig climbing
Post by: Phill T on 24 April 2016, 20:22
After moon lit night on the shores of loch Glascarnoch it turned out to be another good weather weekend.
We were enjoying the single munro of Am Faochagach.
The guide says it means the "Heathery place", reading further and it should say the boggy with often wet river crossing !
Thankfully it had been dry for a while and it was fine, the river was still tricky but no feet were wet.
Showers gave way to a lovely day and stunning views over Beinn Dearg and Cona Mheal.
After a party in Inverness we made a late start to Duntelchaig crag, after getting slightly misplaced on the drive in we found the crag at last, the late night and road closures may have had something to do with that too.
What a stunning location over looking the loch.
We did one route in the end on Seventy foot wall buttress which was interesting for Severe.
The main crag look dirty.

A top weekend and it looks like winter is still in command next week !!
