Glen Clova

Michelle and I had the whole hut to ourselves!

A sunny Saturday meant climbing at Red Crags:
PROUD CORNER 30m VS4c***
CAULDRON CRACK 20m HVS5a**
Attempted Beanstalk S, but it was dirty and loose.
THREE J'S CHIMNEY 12m VD*
PARAPET ROUTE DIRECT START 12m HS4b*
CENTRAL CHIMNEY 40m HS4b***

I found a cave! It had 3 bottles of beer inside!
We then went to Clova Hotel; I had beer, Michelle had sundae.

Sunday was wet! Hiked into Glen Doll NNR- a stunning place, even in bleak weather.
Cloud base was 700m. We continued up to Mayar followed by Driesh before heading down the Kilbo Path. Cold, wet and no views... A cracking day out!

Glad you had a great weekend guys, very jealous as I'd been looking forward to a first visit to Glen Clova.

Hoping to start getting out in the next few weeks after recovering from the second leg op & it's little extra of an infection!!

Watch this space!
